This is my official notification that I will be vacating my apartment at 11244 1/2 Camarillo St. West Toluca Lake, CA 91602  by Saturday October 10, when my current Month-Month lease expires.
It's been great living here for the last 4+ years, and you've been a fantastic landlord, but an apartment has opened up in a building that is close to my work and most of my friends. (Also, due to the economic climate, hours have been cut back at work, and this would just suit my current financial situation better.)

This letter shall serve as my 30-day advance notice of intent to vacate my apartment at 11647 Blix Street, #8, Valley Village, CA 91602, with the notice period to be effective as of the date of this letter.

I have absolutely loved living here, and appreciate the care that Sherwood Properties takes in maintaining its buildings and selecting the tenants who reside there.

However, the time came that I needed to buy a place of my own. Please know that a girl that I work with, _________ has already applied for (and has been approved) to take my apartment, so you should not have any down-time.

Per my voicemail message to you earlier this week, please accept my 30 day notice of termination of my rental agreement for my apartment located at 11702 La Maida Street #3 Valley VilIage, CA 91607
I have truly loved living here.  I have nothing but outstanding compliments for you as the owner and the building manager, and lets not forget Joe the handyman and the very fine gardeners. All of you are not only very good at what you do, but super nice people. In fact yesterday, one of the gardeners was kind enough to knock on my door to let me know I'd left the keys in the lock.

Many times over the 9 ½ years I've lived here, I have had the pleasure of telling friends what great people you all are, and how easy it has been to receive necessary maintenance. That is a rare thing in this world, and I'm sure the same can be said of tenants. Along those lines, I hope I have lived up to my end of the bargain, as it were.
My surrender date for the apartment will be end of day, Nov. 23,2008. That is a Sunday. My hope is to have the move and apartment cleaning completed prior to that date, and if so, I will let you and Erica know.
Thanks again. I will continue to refer friends to you folks for apartment rentals.
